Author Profile: Robert Blumenfeld
Born in New York City in 1943, Robert Blumenfeld has been a professional actor and a private and production dialect coach in New York for more than thirty years. He has been on the faculty of both the Stella Adler and National Shakespeare Conservatories. He created the roles of the Marquis of Queensberry and two prosecuting attorneys in the New York production of Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, for which he was also Dialect Coach. Mr. Blumenfield holds a B.A. and an M.A. in French, and also speaks German, Italian, Yiddish, Russian and Spanish. Having used his many different accents in plays, recorded books, commercials and films, he is superbly qualified to lead any actor to success in mastering the speech a role demands.
