There is no better way to celebrate America than with beautiful, patriotic music — from America’s favorite anthems to poignant and uplifting original compositions.  This patriotic tableau begins as a committee discusses putting on a patriotic show for their town.  Just what does America mean to them?  One person pulls out the Preamble to the Constitution, and they decide to use it as a framework for their show.  Through a series of sketches and songs organized phrase by phrase from the Preamble, they show not only how the Constitution applies to our past, but also to our present and future.  Read more...Everyday life is showcased in both funny and touching vignettes, offering a variety of moods as it explores the deeper meanings of the language of the Constitution.  From two neighbors arguing their constitutional rights to have crab grass to an immigrant’s heartwarming rendition of her coming to America, this Norman Rockwellesque review offers slices of life in America.  Picnics...  tributes to the military...  letters home from war...  all become part of this patchwork quilt of American life.  This musical will serve as a fine reminder that the remarkable words written by our forefathers many years ago are still a living document, part of our lives each and every day.

This educational and inspirational musical masterpiece will leave all involved not only with a better understanding of the founding of America but also a stronger appreciation for what makes this country unique an great today.  A flag, a few simple props and proud voices from an onstage choir are all that are required to produce this show.  Between the versatility, the easy staging and the highly flexible cast, this outstanding patriotic musical lends itself to a multitude of production possibilities.  With songs like the inspiring “We the People,” the powerful “Oh, Freedom!”  and all the American classics you’d expect to hear, both your cast and your audience will be touched by this fine illustration of how the United States of America is made up first and foremost of We the People.

It was uplifting, very patriotic.  It left room for me to make it personal to our area.  The audience loved it.  ...musical and used the entire student body, down to the kindergarten students.

It was so-o-o- patriotic.  We did it right after 9-11, and the audience loved it.  The timing was perfect.  It involved a lot of kids and the songs were catchy, uplifting tunes.

Another favorite because of its moving patriotism.
