A variety of pixies, brownies and sprites tussle with a banshee, wraith, bogles and trows, while two teenage human captives plan their escape. The combined forces of the Summer and Winter Courts are no match for mortals, though, when the faeries mess with a determined farm wife and a bossy baker. This rough and tumble, rollicking comedy incorporates two traditional Scottish faery tales: “The Changeling” and “The Bossy Baker Woman.” Costumes may be simple or elaborate, and the set and props are minimal.
